Padmanabh Baruah assumes charge as SP Karimganj

June 30: In a new police reshuffle, Mayank Kumar, IPS (RR-2015) was transferred from the post of Superintendent of Police, Karimganj and posted as Superintendent of Railway Police, Pandu, Guwahati. Mayank Kumar will be replaced by Padmanabh Baruah, IPS (RR-2016) as the new Police Super of Karimganj. The order was passed on 26 June.

On Wednesday, Padmanabh Baruah, IPS assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police, Karimganj. He was handed over charge by Mayank Kumar, IPS.
