Control Room opened in Cachar to report violation of containment rules of Covid-19

May 20: The Police Control Room located at Silchar Police Station from now onwards will also function as the Covid-19 Control Room where all violations of guidelines for containment of Covid-19 pandemic in the district will be reported. The mobile numbers of this control room are (1) 6026900266 and (2) 7086021473.

On receipt of any information pertaining to violation of Covid-19 guidelines, the control room staff will immediately inform the Officer In-Charge of the concerned Police Station as well as the In-Charge of the concerned OP/PP/PIC, if any, for immediate necessary action. All the Gazetted Officers of this district will also be informed immediately for monitoring the same. This was stated in an order issued by the Superintendent of Police, DSB, Cachar on 20 May, 2021.
