Chief Minister’s convoy vehicle met with accident, NSG injured

২৩ নভেম্বর: মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কনভয়ের গাড়ি দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্ত। তাঁর নিরাপত্তার দায়িত্বে থাকা এক এনএসজি জওয়ান জখম হয়েছেন। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সর্বানন্দ সোনোয়াল রাঙাপাড়ায় শ্রমিক কল্যাণ দিবসের এক অনুষ্ঠানে যাচ্ছিলেন। পথে তেজপুরের গরৈমারিতে একটি সুইফ্ট ডিজায়ার গাড়ির সঙ্গে কনভয়ের বোলেরোর মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ হয়। বোলেরোটিতে এনএসজির চার জওয়ান ছিলেন। তাঁদের একজন বেশ চোট পেয়েছেন। কনভয়ে কী করে অন্য গাড়ি মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ বাঁধায় তদন্ত করে দেখা হচ্ছে।

November 23: A convoy vehicle of Assam Chief Minister (CM) Sarbananda Sonowal’s met with an accident on Friday afternoon near Goroimari area in Tezpur. A Bolero of National Security Guard (NSG)  convoy head a head on collision with a Swift Dzire, thereby injuring a NSG commando. It has been learnt that the driver of the Swift Dezire lost control and hit the convoy vehicle of the CM.

CM Sonowal was on his way to attend a programme of Labour Welfare Day at Rangapara in Assam. There were four NSG jawans in the Bolero. One of them have sustained severe injury. Investigation is on as to how another car rammed into the Chief Minister’s convoy.
