Youth from Malugram killed at Tarapur

July 28: In a sensational incident, a youth was found murdered at Tarapur, Silchar. The incident happened at around 10.30 PM on Thursday. Miscreants stabbed one Bibek Dey (22), a resident of Malugram near Ukil Bazar, Tarapur. The victim was found lying on a pool of blood. Soon, the people of the locality saw that a man was lying on the street with blood coming out of his body. He was immediately rushed to Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH).

As per sources, the doctors at SMCH declared him to be brought dead. However, till now, nothing could be known about those who stabbed him or the motive behind this incident. Meanwhile, police has started their investigation into the matter. The incident has given rise to a tensed atmosphere at Tarapur.
