Webinar on Mathematics to be organised by GC College, AAM & Gonit Sora on 7 July

June 29: The Department of Mathematics, Gurucharan College, Silchar in association with Assam Academy of Mathematics (AAM), Silchar, Cachar and Gonit Sora will organize a webinar. The invited speaker for the webinar will be Dr. Shanta Laishram, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Stat-Math Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi. He will deliver his talk on “Prime divisors in an arithmetic progression“.

The webinar is scheduled to be held on 7July 2020, Tuesday, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The webinar is meant for a wide variety of audience including mathematics Olympiad aspirants, B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D students of Mathematics/ Statistics and faculty members of Mathematics/Statistics at school/college/ university level.

E-certificates will be provided to all the participants.
