Dr.Kumar Kanti Das turns Covid negative, released from hospital on Monday

Sept. 13: Renowned physician, Dr Kumar Kanti Das most popular among the people as Dr Lakhan Das has tested Covid-19 negative on 10 September, following which, he was discharged from the hospital on Monday. Dr Lakhan Das admitted at Green Heals Hospital, Silchar on 4 September after being detected as Covid positive in RT-PCR test.

Informing this, Rudra Narayan Gupta on behalf of Green Heals Hospital said, “We are indeed privileged to get the opportunity to treat and cure a doctor of the stature of Lakhan Das Sir. Since his admission to our ospital, we left no stones unturned to provide the best possible medical service. He was treated as per Covid protocol. The doctors had to be extra cautious due to the prevalence of comorbidities like hypertension etc.”

Rudra Gupta further informed that though Dr Das turned negative on 10 September, but he was kept under observation for three more days and was finally released on 13 September. He has been advised ECG and cardiac tests after next 14 days. PRO and Coordinator of the hospital Pinak Chakraborty was all throughout during the stay of Dr. Lakhan Das in the hospital.
