Indigo starts flight between Silchar & Bhuvaneshwar via Guwahati

October 2: IndiGo has just started it’s services from Silchar to Kolkata on 20 September with flight no. 6E 164/169 on CCU-IXS-CCU route. Within a fortnight of its service from Silchar, Indigo has come up for another new route to and from Silchar in its flying map.

On Tuesday, Indigo started its flight between Silchar and Bhavaneshwar via Guwahati. The inaugural flight 6E726 from Bhubaneshwar via Guwahati landed at Silchar airport at 9.30 hours and Flight 6E731 departed for Guwahati at 10.50 hours. From Guwahati, it will fly to Bhuvaneshwar. As per sources of Airport Authority, the plane was an Airbus A320 Neo Flight.

The introduction of this new flight will definitely increase the connectivity of Silchar to the rest of country more smooth.
