Suspected heroin recovered from Sadarghat, 2 nabbed

July 18: Police on Tuesday recovered suspected heroin from the possession of two persons at Sadarghat, Silchar. On the basis of a secret information, Silchar Police found the drugs from two bike-borne youths. Both of them were arrested and the containers of suspected heroin were seized.

 The duo had brought the drugs for the purpose of selling them in Silchar town. The two persons apprehended in this connection were identified as Tinku Das of Rongpur and Arup Malakar of Malugram. Both of them were interrogated to unearth further details.
