Silchar Police recovers 50 packets of Yaba tablets, 3 from Mizoram arrested

way2barak, Sept.12: The war on drugs launched by Assam Police is still continuing. Based on a tip-off, Silchar Police apprehended three persons and seized 50 packets of Yaba tablets from their possession. In this regard, a case has been registered vide Silchar PS Case No- 2167/22 Us- 22(c)/ 23(c)/29 NDPS Act.

The three arrested were identified as Lalduhawma (36 years), S/O Tlangthsngs, R/O A-68, Electric Yeng, Aizawl Municipal Council, Aizawl; Sawliana TC (34 years). S/O Sawngloai TC R/O- Champai, PS & Dist- Champai, Mizoram and Sangtia (31 years) S/O Ramhiuna R/O Zokhawthar, PS-Zokhawthar, Dist- Champai, Mizoram.
