Result of NEET 2020 declared; Shoyeb Aftab from Odhisa tops scoring 720/720

Oct. 16: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. The result includes both September 13 and October 14 attempts. Odisha’s Soyeb Aftab bagged the top rank attaining a perfect score of 720 out of 720. Delhi girl Akanksha Singh secured the second rank, according to officials of the National Testing Agency (NTA). In a first, both Soyeb Aftab and Akanksha Singh secured 720 out of 720 which made them attain 99.99 percentile.

A total of 7,71,500 candidates have qualified the exam for which over 13.66 lakh candidates had appeared. The highest number of qualifying candidates are from Tripura (88,889) followed by Maharashtra (79,974).
