way2barak, Feb 16: Based on a secret information regarding a drugs deal at Ramnagar supposed to be transported by a two wheelers, a joint team of Cachar Police and 39 Bn Assam Rifles camp Masimpur laid a surprise checking at Ramnagar Part-Vi Village. During the checking one scooty tried to avoid the police team and however the team was able to intercept the rider of the Scooty No. AS-11-F-9053 namely Sur Chandra Singha (48) of Ramnagar, Tuko, Silchar and recovered 20,000 YABA Tablets from his possession. SP Numal Mahatta says that the price of the narcotics substance is about 4 crores.Necessary lawful action is being initiated.
