Rahul Will Win In Pakistan, says Himanta

way2barak, May 4:  If elections were to be held in Pakistan, Rahul Gandhi would emerge victorious, but in India PM Narendra Modi would win, said  Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday. He comments in response to a former Pakistani minister, Chaudhury Fawad Hussain, praising Rahul Gandhi on social media.

On the sidelines of a rally in Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency, Sarma remarked, “We lift our hands in surrender that we cannot match Rahul Gandhi in Pakistan and he will definitely win there.” He, however, added, “But, in Bharat, it’s ‘balle balle’ Narendra Modi.”

The CM also dismissed allegations made by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra about the prevalence of ‘mafia raj’ in Assam. Sarma argued that during the Congress-ruled period in Assam, incidents of blasts, firing and the presence of militant groups like Ulfa and NDFB were common.
