An awareness prog on B R Ambedkar to be held in Borkhola Model Colg

Way2barak, October 12 : An awareness program on the life and works of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar will be organized by Dr. Ambedkar Chair of Assam University, Silchar, in collaboration with Government Model College, Borkhola, Cachar, Assam, from October 13 to 17, 2023, at the college premises. As part of the program, essay, debate, speech, quiz, art competitions, and a multiple choice questions test on the life and works of Dr. Ambedkar will be organized.

Professor Anup Kumar Dey and Dr. Maumita Nath, Assistant Professor of Dr. Ambedkar Chair are monitoring the program and Miss Usha Kumari Shah, Assistant Professor of Government Model College, Borkhola is coordinating all the events along with other faculty of the college. The purpose of this program is to raise awareness about the ideas, thoughts, and philosophy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and his valuable contributions to the social reform movement.

The valedictory programme will be attended by the Vice Chancellor of Assam University Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, Prof Dipendu Das of the English Department of Assam University and Dr. Nilanjan De of Rabindra Sadan Girls’ College, Karimganj
