77 units of blood collected by Marwari Yuva Manch at NIT Silchar during their 2nd monthly blood donation camp

May 17: Marwari Yuva Manch Silchar Titans organized its second monthly blood donation camp of the year 2022-23, at NIT, Silchar Campus today under their ambitious ‘Rakta Daan Amrit Mahotsav’ Campaign in which 77 units of blood were collected with the help of Silchar Medical College Hospital Blood Bank.

President Dhiraj Jain briefed that with the cooperation of NIT’s faculty, management and students, this camp could be successfully organized, the purpose of which was to inspire the new generation to imbibe the culture of Blood Donation. NIT Director Prof Shivaji Bandyopadhyay praised the work of the Forum and extended his best wishes on behalf to the organization.

In-charge of Silchar Medical College Hospital Blood Bank, Rajiv Biswas thanked the forum for this initiative and inspired to organize such events in future also. In the end, the Secretary of the Forum, Neha Jain thanked the Gymkhana, the Secretary of NIT Silchar Students’ Union Hemdutt Mishra and his colleagues for their valuable support in the successful execution of the camp.
