No salary cut, Assam govt to give full salary to its employees

April 29: There was much apprehension of salary cut among the employees of Assam government. However, setting aside all apprehension, State Finance Minister during a press briefing held in Guwahati informed that although various other states have gone in for salary cuts of their employees, but Assam government will release the full salary for all of its employees on 8 May, 2020.

However, he also informed that the salaries of all Chairman and Vice Chairman of PSUs and Boards will be deducted by 25 percent. The MLA LAD Fund has also been suspended for the next four months.
