DC Cachar visits S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, takes stock of ‘Isolation Ward’

March 21: Barnali Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Cachar visited the isolation ward at S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar on Saturday to review the preparedness regarding COVID-19.

DC Cachar inspected all the wards and took stock about the facilities available for the patients in S.M Dev Civil Hospital. It was informed during her visit that a total 6 beds, 3 for male and 3 for female are kept ready for isolation and the isolation ward is well equipped. It was also informed that a dedicated group of staffs were put on duty round the clock.

Rajib Roy, ADC, Dr. Sudip Jyoti Das, Jt. Director of Health Services, Rahul Ghose, DPM and  Suman Choudhury, DME accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during her visit to the S.M. Dev Civil Hospital.
