Fresh Landslide: Avoid traveling from Silchar to Guwahati till road block is cleared: GP Singh

May 17: Though the NH-6 was partially opened for light vehicles in Monday evening There, but there has been fresh Landslide in Kuliang village on NH-06 this morning.The route from Silchar- Ratachera- Khliehriat has been blocked. Efforts are on to clear the same and necessary assistance is being provided to stranded passengers. This was informed in a tweet on Tuesday morning by East Jaintia Hills Police.

On the basis of the fresh development, Special DGP Singh tweeted, “Please avoid travelling from Silchar towards Guwahati till the road block is cleared. East Jaintia Hills Police may please keep the people informed of developments.”
