MLA Rajdeep Goala inspects language lab, plant saplings at Nehru College

June 4: Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) had provided financial grant for infrastructural development of Nehru College, Pailapool. On Thursday, the Language Laboratory Room which is under construction was inspected by MLA Lakhipur Rajdeep Goala in presence of Prof. Dipendu Das, President Governing Body of the college, Principal Dr. Purnendu Kumar, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Shuvajit Chakraborty and others.

Infact, a meeting of the college Governing Body was held on Thursday and Mr. Rajdeep Goala attended the meeting by virtue of being the local MLA. Important issues related to the development of the college was discussed during the meeting. After the end of the meeting, the language laboratory was inspected. Later on, a plantation programme was also undertaken by the college. Saplings were planted by MLA Goala, Principal, President and IQAC Coordinator of the college.

Speaking to way2barak, IQAC Coordinator of Nehru College, Pailapool said, “The College under the able leadership of our Principal Dr. Purnendu Kumar is striving to achieve all round development. Our GB President too has been a guardian figure of Nehru College fraternity. Moreover, local MLA Rajdeep Goala takes keen interest and always lends his helping hand so that the college reaches to new heights.”
