Encouraging results of 1st part of COVAXIN phase-I trial

July 26: On Saturday, the first part of Phase-I of COVAXIN human trials was completed and the results were encouraging. Savita Verma, Principal Investigator at the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak where the trials took place said this. A total of 6 people were administered vaccine on Saturday under 2nd part of Phase-I.Trials of COVAXIN are also underway at AIIMS, Delhi. If successful, COVAXIN will be India’s 1st home- developed COVID-19 vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with ICMR.
