Leo club of Karimganj Youth serve meal packets to the homeless on Independence Day

August 15: Leo club of Karimganj Youth celebrated 74th Independence Day along with their parents Club, Lions Club of Karimganj. The celebration began in the morning with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Leo members along with the Lions in their club premises.

This was followed by philanthropic activities. Leo club of Karimganj Youth then distributed 60 plus meal packets among the needy and homeless people. They expressed the desire and willingness of serving more of the poor and needy in the coming days.

Leo members present during the occasion were Rimu Kr Deb (President), Srinath Banik, Bithika Choudhury, Anirban Ghosh, Sohan Biswas, Manojeet Dhar, Abhishek Chakroborty, Mayurakhi Bhowmik, Hira Paul, Partha Deb, Avishek Das and Monojyoti Das.
