Himadri’s condition stable, treatment going on in GNRC

April 6: The condition of Dr. Himadri Sekhar Das is learnt to have been stable. He is currently undergoing treatment at GNRC, Guwahati. Dr. Das teaches Physics at Assam University, Silchar. He suffered a stroke at late night on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, he was rushed in an ambulance to GNRC, Guwahati. It was learnt that Himadri regained his sense towards evening in the ambulance itself.

At around 10.15 PM, he reached GNRC. He was admitted to ICU in the night. Various tests were performed. His treatment has started on the basis of the test reports. However, his wife has informed that the condition of Himadri Sekhar Das is stable. As per the medical bulletin issued by GNRC on Monday afternoon, it was stated that there was no major internal damage. So no operation will be required. He will be cured by medicines. Initially, the doctors keep him admitted for 10 days.
