Entrepreneur from Karimganj participates in India International Hospitality Expo 2019 at Noida

August 11: After a mega-successful first edition of India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) that left the biggest names from the hospitality industry enthralled, IHE 19 went a step further to become the biggest Hospitality and F&B Show in Asia. With a robust strength of 650 Exhibitors and 25,000 Decision Makers, IHE 19 and IHE 19 Food, was organised in tandem at the India Expo Centre and Mart on 7-10 August, 2019.

With support from top industry bodies (EPCH, AIFPA, FHRAI, IFCA, ICF, NRAI, SIB, PHA, IPCA, SIHRA, FIFI, HOTREMAI, ARCHII, HPMF, PPFI, HI AIM and PIP2020) along with support from Ministry of Ministry of Micro Small & Medium EnterprisesIHE 19 made hassle-free exhibition experience a reality. Armed with a vast array of exhibition categories, specifically curated conferences, select evenings and experiences, IHE 19 made the impossible possible and gave the most coveted hospitality show that India has ever had.

It needs mention in this connection that India International Hospitality Expo 2019 has supported 40 entrepreneurs from Northeast in showcasing their products. Santanu Sutradhar of Disha Enterprise of Karimganj who exports cane and bamboo handicrafts to many countries was also a participant in this grand affair.

Mr. Sutradhar invited MP Karimganj Kripanath Mallah who was felicitated by the Chairman of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts  Ravinder Kumar Passi & Convenor of Northeast Jesmina Jeliang of Nagaland.  MP Mallah showed great interest in this sector and assured to extend all possible help in promoting and generating employment opportunities in his Karimganj constituency in particular and Northeast in general.

Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre and Mart said, “The IHE 19 had speakers from across the world and Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises company owners from the NorthEast too showcased their work as part of Make in India initiative.”
