Assam University defeats G.C.College & wins Inter College Cricket Tournament

February 8: Assam University defeated Guru Charan College by 14 runs in a thrilling final to become champions of the Inter College Cricket Tournament at the serane University Sports Complex. The grand finale was played on Saturday.

The Inter College Cricket Tournament, 2019-20 was played between 5 to 8 February, 2020. Both the teams played well in the grand finale,  but Assam University had the final smile.

Tushar Nath grabbed both the Man of the Match and Man of the Tournament awards. Subhajit Paul and Gaur Shyam were adjudged as the best bowlers. The prizes were handed over by Prof. Dilip Chandra Nath, Vice Chancellor of Assam University in presence of officials of Assam University Sports Board and members of Silchar DSA.
