Ishan Bangla becomes champion of Media Super Tournament

Feb. 28: Ishan Bangla won the Media Super Barak Valley 9-a-side Tournament, 2021. On Sunday, during the grand finale, Ishan Bangla while playing against Samayik Prasanga won the match at India Club Ground by 51 runs. Winning the toss, Samayik Prasanga asked Ishan Bangla to bat first. In their limited overs, Ishan Bangla scored 102 runs. In return, Samayik Prasanga could score only 51 in their limited overs.

In the prize distribution ceremony, Abhijit Bhattacharjee, skipper of Ishan Bangla was handed over the trophy. Whereas, the runners up trophy was received by Manashi Sinha, captain of Samayik Prasanga team.

On behalf of the organisers, Uttam Shee, Samiran Choudhury, Gautam Taluqdar, Ranu Dutta, Biswajit Acharjee, Dilu Das, Dilip Singh, Ajit Das, Tapash Nath were present during the final match. During the prize distribution ceremony Swarnali Choudhury, Sujit Deb, Abhrojit Chakraborty, Riten Bhattacharjee, Biswanath Hazam, Anirban Jyoti Gupta, Sanjay Roy and others were present.
