Date for RT-PCR test for teachers of Barak Valley extended till 10 Sept; to join on 11 Sept
বরাক উপত্যকায় শিক্ষকদের কোভিড টেস্ট ১০ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত

২৮ আগস্টঃ বরাক উপত্যকায় শিক্ষকদের কোভিড টেস্ট করানোর জন্য ১০দিন সময় বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। আগামী ১০ সেপ্টেম্বরের মধ্যে তাঁদের এই টেস্ট করাতে হবে। নেগেটিভ রিপোর্ট সহ ১১ সেপ্টেম্বর নিজ নিজ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধানের কাছে গিয়ে কাজে যোগ দিতে বলা হয়েছে। উপত্যকার তিন জেলায় লকডাউন জারির প্রেক্ষিতেই এমন সিদ্ধান্ত বলে জানিয়েছে শিক্ষামন্ত্রক।

কার্বি আংলঙে অবশ্য আরটিপিসিআর কিট নেই বলে টেস্ট স্থগিত রাখা হয়েছে৷ কিট এলেই নতুন তারিখ জানানো হবে তাঁদের৷ যোরহাটেও  টেস্ট স্থগিতের কথা জানিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্য দফতর৷ এরা অবশ্য এর কোনও কারণ উল্লেখ করেননি৷

August 28: The Government of Assam had earlier notified that all teachers and staff of educational institutions shall have to undergo RT-PCR Test within 21 August to 30 August and then re-join their respective institutions from 1 September onwards. However, this order has been now partially modified for Barak Valley.

In an order issued by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Higher, Secondary & Elementary Education Department on 27 August, 2020, it was stated that, “In continuation of the Department’s earlier letter No. AHE/202/2020/38 dated 19/08/2020, the Government of Assam in Education Department is pleased to notify and extend the date upto 10 September 2020 for COVID RT-PCR Test due to ongoing lockdown for all teachers and employees schools, colleges, universities and teachers of training institutions of Barak Valley, Assam as a safety measure before attending their respective institutions.”

The said notification also extended the date for attending respective institutions by the teachers of Barak Valley. Earlier, they were asked to report to their respective institutions from 1 September, But the notification issued on 27 August stated, “Further, all teachers should attend their respective institutions with effect from 11-09-2020.”

The same was confirmed by ADC (Education) of Cachar district.
