India registers new high of 2,95,041 Covid-19 cases & 2,023 deaths in last 24 hours

April 21: The number of coronavirus cases are increasing in the country by leaps and bound along with the number of Covid related deaths. India reported nearly 3 lakh new positive cases and the death toll also crossed the 2000-mark. India witnessed a jump of 295,041 cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and 2,023 deaths in the last 24 hours, both figures are the highest ever since the beginning of the pandemic. This is asper the data released by the Union ministry of health and family welfare on Wednesday morning. This is the 7th straight day of over 2 lakh new cases in the country.
