08 tests +ve in Cachar on Thursday, tally reaches 11,342

Dec. 31: On Thursday, a total of 08 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1111 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 07 persons were found positive, whereas 01 of them was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Thursday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,341.  Further, a total of 11,254 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 50 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 11 persons were found positive in Cachar on Wednesday.
