Commuters on NH not be fined for over speeding until sufficient awareness is created: CM Assam
Aug 16: In a latest development, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the commuters on NH not be fined for over speeding until sufficient awareness is created.
Taking to his twitter handle, the Chief Minister wrote, “We’ve decided that commuters on NHs and other main roads will not be fined for over speeding until sufficient awareness is created in this regard. Issued instructions to officials of Transport Dept, NHAI, NHIDCL & PWD (Bldg & NH) at a meeting on speed limit violations.”
