Huge spike again! 68 new COVID cases detected in Hailakandi on Thursday

May 6: Hailakandi registered highest ever spike in a single day with detection of 68 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, pushing the coronavirus tally in the district to 3,722. Of the 68 active cases detected on Thursday, 66 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 02 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 248 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 833 RAT tests and 20 RT-PCR tests were done. 16 persons were discharged on Thursday.
