CM Sonowal inaugurated 7th TG Baruah memorial media T20 cricket tournament in Guwahati

December 30: While sharing a video on his twitter handle where he is seen introducing himself with the players, trying some shots, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal stated: “Cricket has always been one of my favourite sports and taking to the field reminded me of my college days.” On Monday, the chief Minister inaugurated the 7^th TG Baruah memorial media T20 cricket tournament at Judges’ field in Guwahati.

Sonowal took to his twitter handle and wrote, “Tried a few shots at inauguration of the 7th TG Baruah Memorial Media T20 Cricket Tournament 2020 at Judges’ Field, Guwahati.” Sonowal himself a sportsman and was also the former union minister of sports.

Assam commerce and industry minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, Jorhat MP Topon Kumar Gogoi, president of the Assam Cricket Association Ramen Dutta, former cricketer Rajesh Bora and several other senior journalists were present on the occasion.
