Covid vaccines to be administered at 5 centres in Silchar on 6 Dec

Dec. 5:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 4 centres in Silchar on Monday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 425 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 6 December in Silchar town.

The 4 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 300 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 6 December.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (125 shots) and 2nd dose (125 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 6 December.
• Durga ShankarPatshala: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 6 December.
• Mobile Team A (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 4: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (25 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 50 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 6 December.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 6 December.
