Cachar set to celebrate 11th International Yoga Day

way2barak, June 19 : The District Administration, Cachar, is all set to host a grand celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2025 at the Indoor Stadium, India Club, Silchar. This year’s theme is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”

The occasion will be graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries including  Kaushik Rai, Minister, Government of Assam, and Parimal Suklabaidya, Member of Parliament, Silchar.

The celebration will commence at 5:30 AM with participant registration and an inaugural function, followed by a live broadcast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address at 6:30 AM. A session on Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) will be demonstrated and practiced from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM, reflecting the core values of physical discipline and mental wellness. The event will conclude with a prize distribution ceremony.
