1214 patients discharged in Assam on Wednesday
July 29: On Wednesday, 1214 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the state. With this, a total of 27,832 persons got cured and were subsequently discharged in Assam. Further, 1348 more persons tested positive during the day, thereby taking the state tally to 36,295. Four patients died due to coronavirus on Wednesday. As of now, 92 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the infection. The recovery rate in Assam has also gone upto 76.77 percent. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1214 patients have been discharged today. Happy to share that our recovery rate is 76.77%~ purely a result of dedication & selfless service of our doctors.”
