Women’s College, Silchar to unveil the replica of ‘Bramho Mandir’ on 21 Nov

way2barak, Nov.18: Women’s College, Silchar is going to unveil the replica of ‘Bramho Mandir’ within its premise on 21 November, 2022 at 9.00 a.m. Informing this, Dr Manoj Kumar Paul, principal of Women’s College said, “It is a noble attempt on the part of the college to express gratitude to the authority of the then ‘Cachar Brahmo Samaj’ for their cooperation in paving the way of higher education for women in this part of the country.

Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, Vice-Chancellor of Assam University, Silchar will grace the historic moment and unveil the replica. Prof. Tapadhir Bhattacharjee, former Vice-Chancellor; Assam University, Silchar, Samita Das, former Secretary of Sadharon Bramho Samaj, Kolkata and Debdeep Roy, Director Raja Rammohan Roy Institute of Performing and Visual Arts, Kolkata as well as a descendant of Raja Rammohan Roy will grace the occasion as guests.
