Earthquake measuring 4.6 jolts Mizoram on Sunday evening

July 5: Since the last month, earthquakes has become a regular phenomenon in the state of Mizoram. At 5.26 PM on Sunday, an earthquake measuring 4.6 in the Richter scale jolted Mizoram. The quake originated 25 km South South West (SSW) of Champhai in Mizoram. The quake lasted for some seconds. It needs mention here that on 3 July, a quake of the same magnitude rocked Champhai.
