Workshop on Sewa Setu Portal and ARTPS Act Held at Assam University
সেবা সেতু পোর্টাল ও এআরটিপিএস আইন নিয়ে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে কর্মশালা

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৮ জুলাই : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের জাতীয় সেবা প্রকল্প (এনএসএস) সেলের উদ্যোগে শুক্রবার প্রেমেন্দ্র মোহন গোস্বামী সম্মেলন কক্ষে ‘সেবা সেতু পোর্টালের মাধ্যমে নাগরিকমুখী পরিষেবা’ বিষয়ক এক প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে বরাক উপত্যকার বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের এনএসএস প্রোগ্রাম অফিসাররা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। এই কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধন করেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভারপ্রাপ্ত উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক অশোক কুমার সেন। তিনি আসাম রাইট টু পাবলিক সার্ভিসেস (সংশোধনী) আইন, ২০২৪ বাস্তবায়নের ক্ষেত্রে তথ্যের নিরাপত্তা ও ডিজিটাল সুরক্ষার গুরুত্বের ওপর বিশেষ জোর দেন।

স্বাগত ভাষণে এনএসএস সেলের সমন্বয়কারী অধ্যাপক এম. গঙ্গাভূষণ উপস্থিত অতিথি ও অংশগ্রহণকারীদের স্বাগত জানিয়ে বলেন, বরাক উপত্যকার বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের এনএসএস প্রোগ্রাম অফিসাররা নিজ নিজ এলাকায় সচেতনতা গড়ে তোলার মাধ্যমে এআরটিপিএস (সংশোধনী) আইন, ২০২৪-এর সুফল সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবেন।

নিবন্ধক ড. প্রদোষ কিরণ নাথ এই প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচি আয়োজনের জন্য অসম সরকারের তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি বিভাগের অধীন এআইটিইসি এবং সিএসডি সোসাইটিকে ধন্যবাদ জানান। তিনি বলেন, এই যৌথ উদ্যোগ বরাক উপত্যকায় নাগরিক পরিষেবা আরও কার্যকর ও সহজলভ্য করতে সহায়ক হবে।

প্রধান রিসোর্স পার্সন এআইটিইসি-র ড. হেমন্ত রাভা এআরটিপিএস (সংশোধনী) আইন, ২০২৪-এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিধান ও নিয়মাবলি বিস্তারিতভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করেন। অনুষ্ঠানের শেষে এআইটিইসি ও সিএসডি সোসাইটির লক্ষীনন্দন গোস্বামী ধন্যবাদজ্ঞাপন করে কর্মশালায় অর্জিত জ্ঞান নিজ নিজ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এবং বৃহত্তর সমাজে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার আহ্বান জানান।

এদিন এমবিএ বিভাগের কম্পিউটার ল্যাবে সেবা সেতু পোর্টালের ব্যবহার নিয়ে হাতে-কলমে প্রশিক্ষণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে নাগরিক পরিচয়পত্র তৈরি, বিভিন্ন সরকারি পরিষেবার জন্য অনলাইন আবেদন, আপিল ও অভিযোগ নিষ্পত্তির ব্যবস্থা এবং সেবা সেতু পোর্টালের কার্যকর ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়।

Way2barak, July 18 : Assam University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell organised a training workshop on “Citizen-Centric Services through the Sewa Setu Portal” on Friday at the Premendra Mohan Goswami Conference Hall. NSS Programme Officers from various educational institutions across the Barak Valley participated in the programme. The workshop was inaugurated by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Asoke Kumar Sen, who highlighted the importance of data security and digital safety in the implementation of the Assam Right to Public Services (Amendment) Act, 2024.

Delivering the welcome address, NSS Cell Coordinator Prof. M. Gangabhushan welcomed the guests and participants. He said that NSS Programme Officers from different educational institutions in the Barak Valley would play a significant role in spreading awareness about the ARTPS (Amendment) Act, 2024 and ensuring that its benefits reach the common people through community outreach initiatives.

Registrar Dr. Pradosh Kiran Nath thanked the Assam Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (AMTRON/AITEC) and the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) Society, under the Information Technology Department of the Government of Assam, for organising the training programme. He said that the collaborative initiative would help make citizen services more accessible and efficient across the Barak Valley.

The keynote resource person, Dr. Hemanta Rabha of AITEC, delivered a detailed presentation on the key provisions and implementation framework of the ARTPS (Amendment) Act, 2024. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Lakhinandan Goswami of AITEC and the CSD Society, who urged the participants to disseminate the knowledge gained during the workshop in their respective institutions and among the wider community.

A hands-on training session on the use of the Sewa Setu Portal was also conducted at the Computer Laboratory of the Department of MBA. Participants received practical training on creating digital citizen identities, applying online for various government services, filing appeals and grievances, and effectively using the Sewa Setu Portal to deliver citizen-centric services.
