Assam Football Association’s new President is Naba Kumar Doley

March 25: In the Annual General Meeting of Assam Football Association (AFA) held at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Stadium in Guwahati, Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development (Independent ) Naba Kumar Doley was elected as the new president. The mee ting also nominated chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s chief patron and Gilbertson Sangma, Tosen Bora, Debashish Roy, Noni Dutta and Dhaneswar Goyari as patrons of AFA taking a fresh resolution.

Naba Kumar Doley was elected as the President for the term 2019-2023. The meeting also elected 22 office bearers and governing body members. Hemendra Nath Brahma was elected as the secretary of AFA.
