Assam completes 20 Lakh COVID-19 Tests

August 25: The State Health Department in Assam has stepped up COVID-19 tests. As a result, on 24 August, Assam completed 20 lakh COVID-19 tests in a span of 5 months time since the outbreak of the pandemic. Assam’s per million test is now 58,356. It needs mention that Assam completed its 1st one lakh tests in a time frame of 114 days. The information was shared by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday.
