APSC exam to be now conducted in Assamese too, says Assam Chief Minister
Nov. 27: From now onwards, APSC Prelims and MAINS exams will also be conducted in Assamese Language. During a press conference held at Administrative Staff College in Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that from next year, students can appear in APSC exam in Assamese. He said that if the IAS exam can be written in English then why ACS exam can’t be written in Assamese. The Chief Minister further stated that students who apply for ACS must be permanent residents of Assam.
