Another wicket down of Assam Congress: Juri Sarma leaves party

June 18: After Mariani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi left the Congress party on Friday, the party lost another leader as Dr. Juri Sarma Bordoloi also left the party on the same day. She expressed deep anguish at the way the Congress party was functioning of late and said, “People do not want Rahul Gandhi as their leader.” She said people are leaving the party because Congress no more is connected to the masses.
