Around 1000 stranded passengers at Ditokcherra moved to Damchara

May 14: Around 1000 passengers of 15616 Express stranded at Ditokchara have been brought up to the Special train on the other side of the damaged bridge.

The Special Train train has moved to Damchara where food and water has been provided. This special train will depart for Badarpur very soon. This was informed by Northeast Frontier Railway on Sunday afternoon.

Apart from Damchara, stranded passengers at New Haflong station are being moved to Maibang station by buses. From Maibang, relief train connectivity up to Guwahati has been provided.
