Chief Secretary of Assam given additional charge of Chairman, APDCL, APGCL, & AEGCL

June 15: Chief Secretary of Assam, Jishnu Barua (IAS 1988-Batch), on June 13, (Assam Govt. Notification No. AAI.17/2021/6) has been assigned the additional charge of Chairman, Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL), Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd (APGCL), and Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd (AEGCL) for the time being and until further Order.

The orders came consequent upon acceptance of resignation of the former Chairman of APDCL, APGCL, & AEGCL, V K Pipersenia (Retd. IAS 1980-Batch) by the Government of Assam.
