Cachar Police nabs 5 drug peddlers, seized an auto along with suspected brown sugar

May 27: In a successful operation, Cachar Police team led by the OC of Katigorah Police Station apprehended 5 drug peddlers on Thursday. 55 small containers containing suspected brown sugar, mobile phones, cash money and an auto was recovered from their possession. Taking to its twitter handle, Cachar Police gave a befitting warning to anti-social elements and wrote, “Beware Drug Peddlers, you cannot escape the law! We are committed to ensure drugs free Assam.”
