SP Cachar reviews border security arrangements
May 21: Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant took over as the Superintendent of Police, Cachar on 17 May from BL Meena. On assuming charge, he spelled out his intention and also sought cooperation from the people at large. On Thursday evening, Police Super Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant reviewed border security arrangements and briefed force personnel regarding duties to perform in view of recent incidents. He also gave necessary instructions about the inter district movement restrictions. In order to curb the further spread of coronavirus, Assam government has imposed ban upon inter-district movement for 15 days.
In a tweet, Cachr Police also appealed to the people to follow Covid protocols. The tweet stated, “We appeal to citizens of Cachar district to follow Covid protocols & Govt guidelines for your own safety. Let’s win this war against Covid-19 together.”
