1 tests COVID-19 positive in Cachar on Friday, 7 active cases in the district

March 19: On Friday, only 01 new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1,023 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none were found positive, whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on  Friday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,503.  Further, a total of 11,458 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 07 active cases in the district.
