Job openings at the establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Cachar: Apply online

Feb. 18: District Administration Cachar has invited online application for a few posts. Here is the details of the posts advertised by the district administration:

  1. Grade IV posts (10 posts): Process Server (01 post), Office Peon (02 posts) and Chowkidar 

Eligibility criteria:

A) Qualifying Age (As per Govt. OM No.ABP.6/2016/51, Dated 02/11/2020)

  • Candidates must not be less than 18 (eighteen) years and more than 40 (forty) years as on ft January, 2021.
  • Upper age limit is relaxable for 5 years to the candidates who belong to SC/ST.
  • Upper age limit is relaxable for 3 years to the candidates who belong to OBC/MOBC.
  • Age limit of candidates will be calculated on the basis of Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority or School Certificate issued by the recognized Institutions.
  • No other documents shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

B) Educational Qualification: Class VIII Passed.

C) How to apply:

  • The applications must be submitted online through official website www.cachar.gov.in only and no other form of applications will be entertained.
  • While applying online, the candidates need to indicate their choice as 15t, 2nd and 3rd for the post of Process Server, Office Peon & Chowkidar in their order of preference. All 3 (three) post may be applied.
  • It may be noted that the preference given during the applications process will be considered final and cannot be changed at a later date.

2. Grade-III post (Driver): (02 posts)

Eligibility criteria for Driver:

  • The recruitment to the post of Driver shall be made by Direct Recruitment only.
  • Age :- A candidate for the post of Driver must be within the age limits of 18 years to 40 years on the first January of the year of advertisement. The upper age limit will be relaxable as per existing Govt. Rules.
  • Qualification: – The minimum essential qualification for the post will be :-1. HSLC examination passed or equivalent from a Govt. recognized Board / Council. 2. Must possess Light Motor Vehicle Driving License issued by the Competent Authority. 3.
  • Experience: – Minimum 3 years driving experience.

How to apply :

  • The applications must be submitted online through the following website www.cachar.gov.in.
  • No other forms of applications will be entertained. Candidates will be required to upload scan and self-certified copies of all testimonials such as Educational Certificates, Age proof certificates, Caste Certificates, Driving License, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Cards, Good quality Photograph etc.
  • The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel and upload scanned copy of NOC of the concerned department.
  • The photograph must be in JPEG/JPG format and size not exceeding more than 50 KB.
  • Scanned signature. Signature should be put with black or dark blue on a white paper in 3.5 x 1.5 cm (size) 50 KB JPEG/JPG format only
  • Applications will be received online from Midnight of 21″ February, 2021 to the midnight of 21″ March, 2021.
  • The candidates will be called for Written Test / Driving Test on the dates to be notified later through the website, and they will have to appear in such test at their own expense.
  • Candidature of candidates is provisional and the Committee has the right to accept or reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of recruitment after proper scrutiny of the educational and other relevant documents.
  • No application fees required.
  • MANUAL APPLICATION FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates.

3. Post of Copyist (01): 

Terms and condition:

  • Age: Candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2021. The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories upto 45 years, for candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC categories upto 43 years, for candidates belonging to Ex-Servicemen category upto 42 years and for candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities categories upto 50 years as per Govt. OM No.ABP.06/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020 issued by the Govt. of Assam in Personnel (B) Department.
  • Educational Qualification:-a) The minimum educational qualification of candidates shall be graduate in Arts / Science / Commerce from a recognized State / Central University or a degree equivalent thereof and recognized as such by the State / Central Govt.
  • How to apply:-
    i) The applications must be submitted online through official website www.cachar.gov.in only and no other form of applications will be entertained. ii) Since the applications are submitted online, the question of submission of applications through proper channel in case the candidates who are already employed becomes redundant. However, such candidate shall intimate their appropriate appointing authorities about the submission of application in writing which may also be uploaded. iii) The candidates already employed should note that the prerogative for according the permission to appear on viva-voce examination/joining in service on being selected by the committee shall solely rest upon appointing authority. Declaration in Form-A under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 to be submitted.

4. Post of Junior Assistant (38 posts):

Terms and conditions :

  • Age — Candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years on the first January of the year of advertisement. The upper age limit is relaxable for 5 (five) years for SC & ST candidates, 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC as per Govt. Office memorandum No. ABP.6/2016/51, Dated 02.09.2020 and 10 (ten) years for PWD category candidates.
  • Educational Qualification for Junior Assistant :- • The minimum education qualification of the candidate shall be Graduate/Degree Examination passed in any discipline from a recognized State/Central University or a degree equivalent there through recognized by the State/Central Govt. • Candidate must have proficiency in basic computer application like MS Windows, Linux, MAC, EXCEL, PowerPoint, DTP (English/Bengali), Spreadsheet, presentation of graphics, concept of database, word processor, internet processing, e-mail etc. • Candidate must possess a minimum 6 months diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognized by the Government.
  • How to apply : • CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY IN PRESCRIBED FORM THROUGH ONLINE MODE ONLY. NO OTHER MODE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION WILL BE ALLOWED. • Candidates are required to apply online only by visiting the website www.cachar.gov.in With effect from 09.30 AM of 21st February, 2021 to 11.59 PM of 21st March, 2021. No application will be filled up after expiry of the given time as the link will be disabled. • No application fee is required. • Before applying online, candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions provided in the website.
