Active COVID-19 cases in Cachar now stands at 16

Feb. 9: On Tuesday, no new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 883 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none was found positive. Even no persons were  detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night. With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,475.  Further, a total of 11,421 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 16 active cases in the district.
