None tests +ve in Cachar for 2nd consecutive day, active cases 18 in the district

Feb. 3: For the second consecutive day, no new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar district. During the day, a total of 1016 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none tested positive. Also, none were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Wednesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,463.  Further, a total of 11,407 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 18 active cases in the district.
