PM Modi to visit Assam again on 7 February, confirms Himanta Biswa Sarma

Jan. 31: Within a fortnight, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam again on 7 February, 2021. On January, PM Modi attended a huge programme organized at historic Jerenga Pathar in Sivasagar district where he distributed land allotment certificates to 1.06 lakh indigenous people of the state. In a tweet on Sunday night, State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted that the Prime Minister “shall bless Assam again with his visit to the historic Dhekiajuli.”

Infact, ahead of the Prime Minister’s February 7 visit, Himanta Biswa Sarma went to Dhekiajuli and inspected the site. The state BJP workers are full of enthusiasm over the Prime Minister’s visit to the state as the party has targeted to win 100+ seats out of 126 seats in the ensuing Assembly polls.
