Leo Central pays homage to the martyrs & condolence on the death of Leo Sangbritee

Nov. 30: The members of Leo Club of Silchar Central offered their tribute to the daring heroes who had attained martyrdom defending the nation from the ghastly terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26/11. At the same time, they also conducted a condolence meeting on the demise of Leo Sangbritee Purkayastha, a member of Leo Club of Silchar Vision who lost her life in a road accident during Diwali.

Both these events were supposed to took place on 26 November, 2020, but had to be postponed due to the nationwide general strike. As such, after their monthly BOD meeting on Sunday, these events took place at their club premises. This was informed in a press release by Leo Samata Paul, Project Chairperson of Leo Club of Silchar Central.
